Entrepreneur Nicci Radhe began gardening during the pandemic as a way to fight off depression. She never intended to start a business. But as her knowledge of what it takes to raise healthy, drought tolerant plants increased, she had more than her family could eat. She turned to selling the harvest as a way to share the abundance and finance her growing oasis.

With an emphasis in seed harvesting, Nicci says, “This was at a time when I was trying to figure out what I needed to live well and immediately saw the connection to plant health. When a plant is struggling, it’s the usually the environment to blame.” This realization helped Nicci to adopt a sober lifestyle and simultaneously fuel her farmer’s interest.

Wanting to share her specially conditioned plants with others, Nicci turned to branding photography to increase her audience and client base. “My branding images set me apart from other gardeners. It shows thought and time has been put into my practice. It helps me stand out and be different. “
